Why use a reputable auto transport company to ship a car

What is Auto Transport? Auto Transport is the service of relocating a vehicle from one location to another. Most of the time, auto transport has three parties involved: The client with the vehicle that needs to be shipped, the Carrier that has the truck and trailer to move the vehicle, and the Broker who joins the two parties with a contract. It is important for the customer to have the support of a broker to ensure smooth transport. When looking to use auto transport services, check out the online reviews and ratings of any company inquiring for business. In America, thousands of cars are transported every day!

Who is eShip Transport? eShip Transport is a top-rated auto transport broker located in Florida. Previously, their corporate office was located in Coconut Creek Florida but they have expanded and relocated to the Florida Keys! The auto transport industry is full of companies who are illegitimate and dishonest, while eShip has been transporting cars for over a decade with a positive rating online! When a car needs to be transported and the job needs to be done properly, trust a company like eShip to get it done!

Where does eShip Transport ship cars too? Anywhere. When a car needs to be shipped across the country, find a reliable agent like eShip. Cars can be transported throughout the lower 48 in the United States quite easily. Cars can also be moved to Puerto Rico and Hawaii with some extra details. If a car needs to be shipped to Alaska, eShip Transport can do that too! eShip Transport is located in the Florida Keys but can ship a car across the country within days!

Why use a reputable auto transport company to ship a car shouldn't be a strange question. But far too often many who use the internet fall into a trap of deception. Make sure to do some further research before handing over the keys to an auto transporter. When the highest level of service is needed, trust the professionals at eShip Transport and their specialized enclosed auto transport division to get that car moved today!

Cambridge Pixel and becker-aero Collaborate to Improve ADS-B Coverage in the South and East Asia

Cambridge Pixel and becker-aero collaboration

Cambridge Pixel supplies ASD-100 and SPx Fusion to complement Becker’s ADS-B receivers making flying safer in Asia and providing better nationwide coverage.

CAMBRIDGE, UNITED KINGDOM, October 5, 2021 / — Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) provides more accurate and reliable tracking of aircraft in flight and on the ground. By using a combination of satellites and receivers, both flight crews and ground control personnel are able to see accurate information about position and velocity of aircraft in an area. Unlike radars, that can take up to 12 seconds to update an aircraft position, ADS-B equipment provides air traffic control (ATC) with updated aircraft information almost every second, making it possible for pilots and operators to identify and resolve potentially hazardous situations quickly and effectively.

ADS-B enabled infrastructures are especially important to deploy in areas where placement of a radar site is unfeasible, such as the highly mountainous terrains of Asia. Such terrain is notoriously challenging for aviators as it is exactly the kind of environment that creates the three common causes of turbulence: mountains, jet streams, and storms.

becker-aero is a privately held company that develops, manufactures and distributes equipment for airborne and ground applications amongst other solutions, and when installing ADS-B systems to enhance existing air traffic management systems in the South and East Asia, becker-aero’s challenge was to fuse data from five redundant ADS-B ground stations (10 sensors) in two different ACCs (Area Control Centres), to feed the existing ATM systems. Cambridge Pixel was able to supply a combination of SPx Fusion and ASD-100, to complement becker-aero’s ADS-B receivers XAero helping to make flying safer and to extend air traffic surveillance coverage in the region.

Cambridge Pixel’s innovative SPx Fusion application receives ASTERIX CAT21 messages from becker-aero’s hardware and identifies which messages contain new aircraft data and which are repeats of previous messages. This is important because the installation of dual-redundant receivers at each site, together with geographical overlap between the sites, means multiple copies of each message are received. SPx Fusion de-duplicates the data to generate a single stream of correlated reports which are re-distributed via the network to the existing ATC systems and the new monitoring stations. Cambridge Pixel’s ASD-100 provides the monitoring display by receiving the fused reports and overlaying them in graphical format onto dynamic aeronautical charts.

In addition to Cambridge Pixel’s software, the becker-aero team received specialist training and support from Cambridge Pixel’s engineers, including a novel custom-built solution for the older version of ASTERIX CAT21 messages still in use by some countries in the Asia Pacific Region to ensure interoperability of ADS-B ground stations. Following this development work, Cambridge Pixel’s technologies are now capable of interfacing to both legacy and current versions of the ASTERIX CAT21 protocol, providing a single common interface to operators and other systems regardless of the original source of the data.

“As a result of the collaboration with Cambridge Pixel and the custom adaptions to the software, we at becker-aero, were able to provide our customers an excellent display tool with the ASD-100 application. Engineers at Cambridge Pixel were able to customise the software to the specific needs of our clients, e.g. support for SKyVector charts. Thus, we were able to offer our product to a wider range of interested parties.”

Cambridge Pixel’s air surveillance tools and accessories are used around the world ranging from Indonesia, Thailand and Australia, to America, the UK and Germany. ADS-B support is included in Cambridge Pixel’s SPxServer, RadarView, RadarWatch and can be recorded/replayed via the RDR application, as well as the free ADS-B Data Monitor for diagnostic purposes. Furthermore, Cambridge Pixel’s engineers improved ASD-100 during this project by adding support for SkyVector aeronautical charts. David Rosic, Software Engineer from becker-aero said: “The SkyVector charts work wonderfully. We are very glad Cambridge Pixel implemented this feature.”

Dealing With the Complexity of Processing RAW LiDAR Data

The easiest way to use LiDAR for ITS applications: from vehicles counting to smart traffic lights and predicted trajectories.

HAMBURG, GERMANY, October 4, 2021 / — Outsight, the pioneer of 3D Spatial Intelligence solutions, announced today an ITS specific version of its award-winning flagship product: the Augmented LiDAR Box (ALB). It’s the first real-time LiDAR Software Engine that allows ITS and Smart Infrastructure application developers and integrators to seamlessly use LiDAR data from any hardware supplier – thanks to a solution that comes in a shape of a small computing device. Created as a turnkey solution, the ALB enables leveraging 3D Spatial Intelligence’s unique value while avoiding the complexity of processing 3D data in real-time. Being a LiDAR-agnostic solution, it saves companies the hassle of assessing and choosing the most appropriate LiDAR for each use case. LiDAR can now be easily used in Vehicle counting, Pedestrian monitoring and many other use cases.

This first-of-its-kind product follows thorough early customers’ validation processes across several different geographies (USA, Europe, Asia) and user profiles (Market-leading corporates, Start-ups and Universities) as well as strategic partnership agreements and collaborations with the most prominent LiDAR suppliers in the USA and Asia, including Velodyne, Ouster, Hesai, and Robosense.

In order to improve road safety for people who walk, bicycle and drive, Integrators of Solutions are increasingly interested in leveraging the unique value of real-time 3D Spatial Intelligence that LiDAR technology creates, but don’t want to deal with the complexity of processing RAW LiDAR data.

Moreover, for the best professionals in smart infrastructure applications, going through the hassle of assessing, selecting and using the right LiDAR sensor out of dozens of hardware suppliers and more than a hundred available products, without any standard, is also a time-consuming, non-value added and inefficient use of engineering resources.

Turning any LiDAR into a Spatial Intelligence device
The Augmented LiDAR Box is the first LiDAR pre-processor: a real-time software engine that turns any LiDAR into a Spatial Intelligence device. It overcomes the complexity of using RAW 3D data, so any application developer or integrator can efficiently use LiDAR in its own solutions without needing to become a 3D LiDAR expert. In order to provide a seamless integration experience, the Augmented LiDAR software engine is delivered embedded in a convenient LiDAR-Agnostic Plug & Play Edge computing Device: the Augmented LiDAR Box (ALB).

The ALB provides a comprehensive set of fundamental features that are commonly required in Smart Infrastructure applications (e.g., Object ID & Tracking, Segmentation & Classification, among others). Because it only requires an ARM CPU and its AI doesn’t rely on Machine Learning, the solution is power-efficient and doesn’t need any Training or Annotation efforts.

There is no LiDAR hardware that can fit all applications and contexts: the ALB is an enabling computing layer regardless of the end-user application and LiDAR supplier, so integrators and solution providers are not constrained by the limitations of specific sensors. This is especially true in ITS applications such as Smart Intersections, where combining different types of LiDAR and other sensors can be done thanks to Outsight pre-processing, where the merged 3D data of each sensor is delivered in an open and standardized data format regardless of the LiDAR type and model.

The launch of ALB for ITS also follows the successful deployment of Outsight’s technology at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport of the ADP group, to provide accurate real-time monitoring of people flow while preserving private data.

Outsight has grown rapidly by integrating new features into its LiDAR-based processing solutions that enable systems to perceive, understand and interact with their surroundings in real time. With a new generation of hardware and software pre-processing engine, connected to any LiDAR of the market, Outsight offers a unique level of simplicity, efficiency and versatility in Smart Infrastructure applications.

What integrators can expect from the ALB for ITS
For each LiDAR reading, typically 20 times per second, the ALB provides a set of comprehensive spatio-temporal features including: tracking of moving objects, zones of interest and presence of moving objects in zones of interest.

Award-Winning Technology
In less than a year, Outsight has successfully designed and industrialized this new generation of LiDAR processing solutions for ITS applications, which has been the subject of 73 patent applications.
Outsight’s innovation won many awards, including the prestigious Best of CES Innovation Award in Las Vegas, and it’s the youngest company ever to have won the Prism Award by the world leaders in photonics.

About Outsight
Outsight develops real-time 3D LiDAR perception solutions.
Our mission is to make LiDAR-based Spatial Intelligence become Plug & Play, so it can be used by application developers and integrators in any market. Using any LiDAR with our pre-processing capabilities allows Smart Machines and Smart Cities to achieve an unprecedented level of situational awareness.
We believe that accelerating the adoption of LiDAR technology with easy-to-use and scalable pre-processing will highly contribute to creating transformative solutions and products that will make a Smarter and Safer World.

About the ITS Congress
The ITS Congress is the biggest event focused on smart mobility and the digitalization of transport. Every year, ERTICO organises an ITS regional or World Congress in Europe. The Congresses are the yearly celebration of smart mobility: they underline the importance of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), particularly in cities and regions where they are hosted, and are important channels to raise awareness of smart mobility solutions among policy makers, experts and the general public. They include live sessions where industry experts present the latest developments in ITS, a showcase of cutting-edge technology and an exhibition space. The Congresses offer stakeholders and patrons the ultimate platform to meet with industry influencers, discuss ideas and initiatives, make new contacts and promote their businesses by taking part in a range of activities.

ATLANTA, UNITED STATES, October 4, 2021 / — In preparation for ExpressJet’s reboot as a scheduled service airline, the company has reached agreements with both the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) representing its Flight Attendants and the Transport Workers Union of America (TWU) representing its Dispatchers.

ExpressJet recently announced its reboot with the launch of aha!, its “air-hotel-adventure” leisure brand. aha! will begin flying from its home base at Reno-Tahoe International Airport on October 24, 2021 to eight cities across the western United States. The agreements with the IAM and TWU will provide temporary flexibility to ExpressJet as it finalizes the restart of operations with different systems, a different business operations model and a different footprint. The agreements are designed to maintain the compensation and benefits in the existing Collective Bargaining Agreement.

“We appreciate the willingness of all of our unions in helping ExpressJet restart operations,” said Darrin Greubel, Managing Director of Operations. “With agreements completed with the IAM and TWU membership, we look forward to concluding our contract with the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) shortly.”

ExpressJet’s restart will enable it to recall from the 2,700 employees who were furloughed after the termination of its flights on behalf of United Express – at the end of September 2020.
