FRCSW Human Capital Team Gains Firsthand Perspective Aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt

Members of Fleet Readiness Center Southwest’s (FRCSW) Human Capital team visited USS Theodore Roosevelt for a firsthand look at shipboard operations and the aviation assets supported by FRCSW maintenance professionals.

During the visit, the team received a tour from Roosevelt’s Public Affairs staff, providing an opportunity to see firsthand the operational environment where Sailors live, work and maintain the readiness of naval aviation forces.

The visit was designed to strengthen the team’s understanding of the customers they support and the mission their work enables. For Human Capital professionals, understanding the customer means more than knowing an organization chart or reading a job description, it means understanding the mission, the people performing it and the environment in which they operate. Experiencing shipboard operations allows them to gain greater insight into the demands of naval aviation and the team can then bring that perspective back to FRCSW and apply it to the workforce support, talent management and organizational services they provide.

When our people understand the mission, they are better equipped to support the people who make that mission possible.

FRCSW Employees are the Backbone of Military Readiness!
